The original parts of this church are Norman, but there were additions over the 14th and 15th centuries, with major renovation taking place in the late 19th century.

At the time of our visit, the font at St. Margaret of Antioch church was beautifully decorated in honour of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee

Benjamin Tomkins
There is a memorial inside to Benjamin Tomkins – early developer of the Hereford cattle
Sacred to the Memory of Benjamin Tomkins who departed this life 2nd June 1789 aged 74 years. Also Ann, wife of Benjamin Tomkins who departed this life July 29 1805 aged 87, and of Richard, son of Benjamin and Ann Tomkins who departed this life May 7th 1775 aged 14. 5
John Williams
Sacred to the memory of John Williams, late of Brinsop Court in this County, who departed this life 26th March 1815 aged 59 years. Also Mary his wife, who died April 2nd 1847 aged 90 years.
Sir Herbert Perrott
Memorial to Sir Herbert Perrott 1683 who was Lord of the Manor of Wellington, benefactor and founder of the almshouses which stand on the east side of the A49 road to Hereford. They were almost entirely re modelled in 1887
Sarah and James Haynes
Sacred to the memory of Sarah, wife of James Haynes, of the Church House Farm in this parish. She departed this life March 19th 1832 aged 36 years. Also James Haynes, who died 1837
John Meats
Near this place are deposited the remains of John Meats, late of Bridge Farm in this parish, who died May 1st 1837 in the 67th year of his age. In the same vault are deposited the remains of Susanna Meats, his relict, who died July 3rd 1848 aged 63 year
Joseph South
Sacred to the memory of Joseph South Esq., formerly of the parish of Bodenham in this County, who departed this life July 8th 1827 in the 73rd year of his age. Also of Elizabeth, relict of Joseph South, who died 1st September 1842 aged 69.

To the memory of Ann, the wife of William Meats, she departed this life June 30th 1830 aged 25 years.
Joshua Mason
In memory of Joshua Mason, who died July 29th 1797 aged 41 years. \”My time was fhort when death draw\’d near, to part from wife and children dear. Little thought my glaff waf run, til fuddenly my breath waf gone.\” Near this place lyeth Hann (?), the wife of Joshua Mason, who died October 10th 1828

Beneath lie the remains of Benjamin, the son of Benj and Alice Holland, who died 27th September 1805 aged 21 years
Tho. Morvan
Oppofite thif aifle lies the bodies of Tho. Morvan, the son of Tho and Jane Morvan, who died Jan 29th 1787 aged 14 years, and Jane Morvan mother of the faid Tho. Morvan, who died May 27th 1806 and buried in her son\’s grave, aged 75 years
